Fri, 8/29: Vocalist Mary Ann Anderson & Guitarist Doug MacDonald Jazz duo May Anne Anderson and Doug MacDonald have recently released "Rendezvous," a collection of Jazz standards, originals, and some fun surprises. Anderson "has the poise and lightness of a musical truth-teller. . . sparse, playful and emotive" say the pundits. Critically-acclaimed and first-call L.A. guitarist Doug MacDonald "supplies a magic carpet ride for any singer who dares to fly." This is their debut at the Camilla Lounge, and they will perform songs from the CD as well as a blend of Jazz favorites, with a few French twists. Prepare to be charmed by this passionate jazz duo! 8pm - $8.
