Marcus Shelby is an award-winning composer, arranger, educator and bassist. He is nationally recognized for his innovative and collaborative approach to composing and arranging for text, the visual arts, dance and theater and for his commitment to using jazz to narrate the history of African Americans.

Terrence Brewer: Award-winning guitarist, bandleader, record producer and concert performer. Brewer's nationally acclaimed albums top the jazz charts. He has performed to sold-out crowds at SF Jazz, Yoshi's, and the Monterey Jazz Festival.

Steve Erquiaga: A San Francisco Bay Area native, guitarist/composer/arranger. His career has touched many areas of the music world; recorded and toured with top artists and recorded soundtracks for major films, commercials and television. Steve is an international clinician and published author.

Calvin Keys: Jazz guitarist, leader of his own band, producer of his recordings and on first call for his exceptional style as an accompanist and soloist by many other legends of jazz. He has performed internationally, taught jazz workshops.
