Three Voices with Ron Banks, Michael Paul Smith, and Andrew Pettit
Join us on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. for the first concert in our Orange Coast Concerts 2009-2010 Season.

The first concert of the season, Three Voices, on September 26, 2009, will feature three vocalists with distinct styles.  Ron Banks will perform Broadway favorites.  Michael Paul Smith (in his second Orange Coast Concerts performance) will sing traditional classical music and Andrew Pettit will energize the crowd with pop and R&B. . Carrying on the tradition of Orange Coast Concerts' previous sell-out events "Three Guitars" "Three Flutes," and "Three Zithers," this year's "Three Voices" promises to be the epitome of an eclectic and intimate event!

A versatile performer, Ron Banks has worked as a singing actor for more than 20 years in musical theatre, opera, concert, choral and drama. Lately his career has centered on musical theatre, but he has ventured into film appearing in short films and projects where he brings live music and drama to children.

Michael Paul Smith, an acclaimed singer who has performed with Tony Award winners and many of the nation's most respected opera companies, is best known for his tribute to the great Paul Robeson. Mr. Smith's glorious vocal gifts and stage presence are hallmarks of this fabulous baritone

Richness and a sense of vocal urgency with a strong sense of lyric, tone, and structure provide a melodic path that takes the listener to heights that are rarely achieved even by chart-topping performers. The vocals of Andrew Pettit  are this and more. He is what singers aspire to become, a lyricist, a stylist, a troubadour of cool and soul. When you listen to this young man sing you will hear his roots in Gospel, Jazz and R&B. His classically trained voice has a weight that adds to the intensity of his performance.

Tickets $20 each when purchased in advance (plus any applicable fees) or $25 at the door. Children 12 and under are admitted free. Parking is free.

Our venue is small, which means you can hear and see the performers from every seat.  It's an intimate setting for live music that you won't soon forget.

When you purchase your $65 Season Ticket, you will save $15 off the individual advance ticket price or $35 off the individual door price!

All concerts begin at 7:30pm.

Refreshments are available for purchase at intermission.
