Brazillian Weekend Package
A 25% savings! Includes admission to Classically Brazilian on Saturday, September 19, 2009, at 7:00 pm, and to Reflecting Brazil on Sunday, September 20, 2009, at 4:00 pm. The first concert presents a cross-section of Brazilian music, including classical masterworks for voice, piano, and chamber ensemble by composers from 1800 to the present, plus selections from the popular traditions, Choro and Forro. The second concert explores the response to Brazilian music by North American and European composors and concludes with the world premiere of a work by jazz musician and composer Chuck Dotas, featuring Brazilian and North American performers in a piece that pulls it all together. Both concerts will take place in Staunton Virginia's historic Trinity Church.
