You asked for it! The Lowcountry High Rollers are back at McAlister Fieldhouse on the Citadel campus. Come support your local derby team as they battle Greenville's Roller Derby Dames!
If you haven't seen them rule the rink yet, this is your chance to experience non-stop derby action here in the Lowcountry. Half-time entertainment will be provided by The Soda Jerks and to demonstrate school spirit, we will be accepting school supplies for a downtown Charleston school. Additionally, proceeds from our raffle will benefit the same local school.
Roller Derby is the fastest growing womens contact sport in the United States with over 300 teams nationwide.
This isn't your mama's roller derby though! Don't expect choreographed pile drivers with subsequent fist fights. This centuries derby is tough, athletic, AND entertaining.
