The Philadephia Sessions House Concert with Jim Boggia and Zach Djanikian
If you have never been to a house concert, it's a great way to experience music. No phones, no tv's, no texting or emails and no distracting conversations while the musician is playing. Everyone is there to listen intently and really absorb the music. This is the perfect place for the true music lover to enjoy a show. Another great aspect of the house concert is that you can bring your own food and spirits to enjoy and even share with other guests. Some of the best house concerts I have been to have also introduced me to incredible recipes, beers or wines. Add to that, the community feel, the great conversations that you have after the show, and the intimate access to the artist and it all adds up to a perfect evening for someone that loves good music.
The Philadelphia Sessions has made the strategic decision to build a network of patrons that will throw house concerts as benefits for our sponsored artists. We feel that this is not only a great way to get music out into the community, but it's also true to our stated value of grass roots, community building initiatives. We are proud to present the very first in our house concert series. In this case, a group of patrons in center city have generously agreed to open their center city home to us, and to support these two excellent musicians.
