Omega in Concert
Omega Bugembe Okello ("Omega") is a talented East African singer who creates Western-influenced world music. Recruited at age four by the African Children's Choir for her smooth, soulful vocals, Omega has since performed for British Prime Minister Ton Blair in Ireland, as well as for audiences all over the globe. She sings in several different languages, using jazz, pop, R&B, neo-soul and traditional African music to create songs that celebrate life through unique musical arrangements.
