TownMusic: Biava Quartet with Joshua Roman
The Biava Quartet returns to Town Hall on the heels of a November 2008 performance that left one Seattle Times reviewer "thrilled to be witnessing such glory." The quartetviolinists Austin Hartman and Hyunsu Ko, violist Mary Persin, and cellist Jason Callowaytakes its name from Maestro Luis Biava, a mentor and inspiration for the quartet since its inception. Included on the program is a performance of Schubert's String Quintet in C Major, with Joshua Roman.
