Houston Chamber Choir -- Mozart Requiem
The Houston Chamber Choir performs Mozart's masterpiece, Requiem, with consummate polish, precision, and on the more intimate scale the composer had in mind. With members of the Houston Grand Opera Orchestra. Also on the program is Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings and Mozart's Ave Verum Corpus. This performance is offered in thanksgiving for the life and work of Margaret Skidmore, whose counsel and personal support of the Houston Chamber Choir were important to the ensemble's growth and artistic achievement.
