An Evening with Piedmont Opera
As Piedmont Opera prepares its fall production of Madama Butterfly, artists from the company explore music from the verismo period. The music of Mascagni, Leoncavallo, Puccini and others will be performed, featuring the beautiful love duet Pinkerton sings to his new bride, Butterfly.
Tenor and General Director of Piedmont Opera James Allbritten will be joined by Soprano Kristin Schwecke and Baritone Ted Federle, with Nancy Johnston at the piano.
