COONEY'S IRISH CABARET
Enjoy an evening of Irish music, laughter, and dance with Cooney's Irish Cabaret. Christened Irish America's favorite son by THE NEW YORK TIMES, Andy Cooney is one of the greatest singing sensations on the Irish music scene today. He has sold out performances at Carnegie Hall twice. He has gathered fine Irish musicians, both from America and Ireland, as his band tours both nations. Enjoy Irish ballads, such as "Galway Bay," "Danny Boy," and "My Kathleen." Cooney has recorded 18 albums, including his latest title "Bright Brand New Day," which he recorded in Ireland with the RTE Orchestra. He has collaborated with many musicians, including Crystal Gayle and Larry Gatlin, The Statler Brothers, Phil Coulter and Cherish the Ladies and Joan Madden. Enhancing the show will be local dancers from the Trinity School of Dance.
