Dave Nachmanoff
Singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Dave Nachmanoff performs original songs throughout the United States and Europe. A journeyman at his craft, we are pleased to have him at the Songwriter Concert Series.
His style ranges from folk to pop and as a sideman he works as Al Stewart's guitar player on a regular basis. He has performed at venues as far ranging as The Bottom Line and the Edmonton Folk Festival. He's shared the stage with Cheryl Wheeler, Steve Forbert, The Pogues, America, and Alison Krause. A master songwriter, performer, and all around good guy, Dave Nachmanoff's performance will leave you feeling great.

At the vanguard of the New Acoustic movement, Mark Lemaire's sound has been shaped by his gift for unforgettable melody, his unique approach to acoustic guitar, and his ability to unearth a simple phrase that illuminates a complicated subject. Cindy has a beautiful voice and has taken the time to find all the ins and outs of the harmonies. Mark has opened for Tracy Chapman, Steve Seskin, Maria Muldaur, and Stephan Grossman, among many others. During performance, he effortlessly moves between complex instrumental pieces and a vocal delivery that's the perfect support for the intimacy of the poetry he sings, shifting from a road-weary croon to a soaring falsetto as his song's stories unfold. Among his most recent offerings, "Breathing Lessons", deals with the crazy ups and downs of internet dating, while "Grain of Sand", points out how our most painful fault is also at the center of our greatest strength.
