An evening of classical selections performed by Rainbow City Orchestra. The musical selections will be paired with wines and cheeses for a total sensory experience. Perhaps you will enjoy the Café Suite's pairing or perhaps Allegro Gustoso - sure to be paired with Proseco and an appropriate cheese. Espana Cani paired with a wine evoking Spain and for the Champagne Rag...you get the picture! Alteus, a local wind quintet featuring members of Rainbow City Band and Rainbow City Orchestra, will be opening the concert. Each $40 ticket entitles you to a flight of wines and cheeses paired with the RCO's performance, crackers and nuts to accompany your cheeses and handmade chocolate truffles to end the evening. This is a fundraising event for Rainbow City Band, the organization from which RCO emerged just a few years ago. Rainbow City Band is a 501(c)(3) arts organization dedicated to raising awareness and acceptance of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning members of our community. Our members are from all over the Puget Sound area and we proudly thank our straight allies for their involvement and support.
