#NBUFConvention2014 Political Prisoners Performing Arts Show
As part of the the National Black United Front 35th National Convention - #NBUFConvention2014 - the National Black United Front Black Arts Movement will be sponsoring a Political Performing Arts Show Featuring Abiodun Oyewole of the Last Poets and Taalam Acey.
The purpose of the show is to bring artists and activists together to raise funds and increase awareness of political prisoners and mass incarceration.
Co-hosted by Enoch 7th Prophet and Ra Brown, the program will also feature Johnathan Stith of the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement, Jihad Abdul Mumit National Co-Chair of the Jericho Movement and Kofi Taharka National Chairperson of the National Black United Front.
Other performers include DJ 360 Degreez, the Malcolm X Drummers and live painting by Jamil Jones. More vendors and live painters are wanted.
