The Legendary Platters

The Platters were one of the top vocal groups of the rocking 1950's and among the first doo-wop groups inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame.

Oscar Charles and his Legendary Platters return to the Capitol Theatre for one night only to perform great chart-topping hits like "Only You," "The Great Pretender," "The Magic Touch," "My Prayer," "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes," & "Twilight Time".

The Capitol Theatre Box Office will be closed during the summer months, but you can purchase tickets for the Platters online here or at the Rollin Art Centre (3061 Eighth Avenue), which is open Tuesday - Saturday, 11 AM - 4 PM.

If you purchase a ticket here online, please check off "Will Call" (save your home printer ink)and pick up your ticket(s) on August 16 when our box office opens at 6:30 PM. Simply give your name at the box office when you arrive for the show. Online sales end 3 hours before the show, but if there are any tickets available you will be able to purchase at the door at 6:30 PM. See you then!
