Sweet Chariot Music and Arts Festival comes to VINALHAVEN!!
The Sweet Chariot Music and Arts Festival began twenty years ago on Swans Island, Maine. It is a big variety show, featuring the best of Maine's songwriters, traditionalists, sea chantey singers, alongside a cast of players from Ohio, California, Massachusetts and more. The Festival has become a favorite destination for schooners and windjammers on charter from the mainland, as well as a growing number of devotees who arrive on boats of all shapes and sizes. Join us in Vinalhaven, as we delve into the idea of an island-hopping cavalcade of whoop-de-doo down the Maine Coast.
