The Prisoner of Passion
London native David Payne has been in Christian ministry most of his life.  Much of his current work is inspired by the writings of C.S. Lewis.  Based out of Nashville, David Payne Drama tours such productions as An Evening with C.S. Lewis and The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.

In Prisoner of Passion, the apostle Paul (David Payne) is under house arrest in Rome and faces almost certain death.  As Paul interacts with a servant girl Sempronia (AnnaGee Harris), he is found to not only be in good spirits but rejoicing in the events of the past and the hope for the future.  He also cites the many letters he wrote to the early churches.  With the dialog taken almost entirely from the New Testament, the Bible takes on a new thrilling dynamic as this drama unfolds.
