Boys Don't Cry
Teena Brandon was a woman who chose to live her life as a man in Nebraska and suffered tragic consequences. She leaves home at 20, gets a crew cut, jeans, boots and becomes Brandon Teena. Soon Brandon is hangin with the guys and chasing girls in small town Falls City. A small traffic ticket brings his legal name out in the open and the town erupts in horror of a Trans person living in their midst. Hillary Swank does an amazing performance of Brandon Teena in this Oscar winning film.
