SEASON four has so far been a tough and exciting year, forcing the Seaside Sirens to pull out all the stops and fight hard for results against some of the country's toughest opponents.

Fresh from a defeat against Nottingham's Hellfire Harlots at the start of May - a game which we may have lost but we were over the moon with the result - we are training harder than ever for our up and coming game against Leeds Roller Dolls Rebel Roses.

Last time the Rebel Roses were down south in London they took away a win against skaters, the London Rockin' Rollers. But now they face our All Stars at the seaside in sunny Essex and we're determined to give as good as we get.

We also have the legendary Dan Gleibitz announcing and after wowing the Essex crowd during our game against Newcastle Roller Girls, we are delighted to welcome back Yours Truly to join him!

So be sure to keep SATURDAY 28TH JUNE free in your diary and bring the family along to witness one of the world's fastest growing, most exhilerating contact sports.

This season we have had the highly successful 50\50 Raffle at our bouts, in which the winner walks away with 50% of the raffle takings! The last winner walked away with over £150, so don't miss out and be sure to stop one of our raffle ticket sellers to be in with a chance of winning.

And no Seaside Sirens bout would be complete without an after party. Naturally we'll be heading to our favourite local drinking establishment The Alex for food and, ahem, water. So come along after the game and party the night away with us upstairs at The Alex, 53 Alexandra Street, Southend-on-Sea SS1 1BW.
