SONOMA SOUND
Sonoma Sound plays a sonic tapestry of original roots music with threads of Americana, Blues, Folk, Jazz and World rhythms that blurs the boundaries of musical category. Their live performance is sung in English and Spanish, is a fusion of conscious lyrics sung over steady rhythms with wandering melodic solos. It is music unlike anything you have heard before. Jay Popky on vocals & guitars, Paul Downie on vocals, drums & percussion, Dean Sophocles on piano & organ, Jake L'Armand on violin, Robert Veith on the five string electric bass and Will Paynter on vocals, acoustic bass, melodica, harmonica and percussion. www.sonomasound.com
DANIEL WHITE
Daniel White was born in a small town outside of Philadelphia and was exposed to Bach, Beethoven and Mo-town recordings at an early age. He played in the Philadelphia jazz scene for several years before attending school in Boston. Then, he traveled across the country, stopping in Asheville, North Carolina; Austin, Texas; and Santa Cruz, California. The solitude of the hills of Felton provided the perfect environment to craft preliminary sketches of his diverse repertoire of originals and cover songs. Currently, Daniel is performing in clubs on the East Coast (Philadelphia and New York City) and in Chicago as well as venues abroad in Amsterdam and Israel. www.danielwhitemusic.net
