An Evening With Anthony David and Teri Tobin
Anthony David will bring his intimate acoustic setting to the Phoenix Center for the Arts, for the first time.

Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Anthony David has never been the kind of soul artist to "speak loudly, but say nothing." With David, the sage psalm aptly describes the ruminations of a seeker whose walk travels over roots, soul, blues, reggae and hip hop to unabashedly express the unexpressed in men's souls, from the carnal and the provocative to the unsure and the vulnerable.  Go to http://www.purposerecords.com to learn more.

Born on Valentine's Day, Arizona-born soulstress, songwriter & producer, Teri Tobin, began her professional singing career as a child when she was chosen to sing background vocals for the legendary Jeffrey Osborne and for the Rock Band Yes. Although most of her influences are male singers like Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, Marvin Gaye, Prince, and Donny Hathaway, Tobin is reminiscent of the sultry sounds and richness of R&B or Jazz singers of yesterday.  Go to www.teritobin.com for more info.

Hosted by E-Tweed.  Sketch Comedian Khayos-X Entertainment.

**************JUST ADDED to the bill is performance poet Truth B. Told  who hails from Louisville, Kentucky, by way of Flint, Michigan.  Nominated by the National Poetry Awards as Spoken Word Artist of the Year (2013) and awarded the event's Spoken Word Album of the Year (2012), Truth B. Told marks his one-year anniversary of his move to Phoenix during July.
