Hudson Valley Horrors vs. Coal City
HYDE PARK, NY - The Hudson Valley Horrors, the world's first non-urban flat track roller derby team wants you to step right up to its next home bout on Sunday, July 26, 2009 for the greatest show on earth known as "Carnival!"
New to the spectacle of festivities in Carnival is The zomBsquad,HVHRD's all new, freshly tenderized B-team which are, much like their horror movie counterparts, oblivious to pain! HVHRD's coaches,schooled in the latest necromantic techniques have been able to reanimate this group of skaters, creating the finest undead spawn of
Horrors who will take on Pennsylvania's Coal City Rollers.
Carnival will be hosted at Hyde Park Roller Magic, located at 4178 Albany Post Road in Hyde Park, New York. Doors open at 6 and the zomB attack starts at 7!
Come one, come all and enjoy magic and circus acts for your pre-game and halftime entertainment pleasure!
Spectators wishing to witness the carnage can purchase advance tickets for $10, or $15 at the door. VIP seats are a mere $20, which includes a rink side chair and Horror goody bag (zomB attacks possible! Sit at your own risk!)Kids under 10 are free with each paid Suicide ticket, or upgrade to VIP available at reduced rates.
Photographers will receive discounted rate of $7 with a signed photo release.
