Lev Aronson Festival Opening Gala Concert - Brian Thornton, Cello,Emauel Borok, Violin and Spencer Myer, Piano
Back from the triumphant first season of the Lev Aronson Legacy Festival, Brian Thornton returns to S.M.U. to perform solo cello favorites and the passionate Tchaikovsky Piano Trio in a minor with incredible violinist Emanuel Borok.
Brian Thornton has brought the trans-formative power of music to thousands of audience members and students through his recitals and school visits, and is joined by Dallas favorite Emanuel Borok of the Dallas Symphony and award-winning pianist Spencer Myer for an evening of engaging and entertaining music.
This concert is the first in a week of incredible recitals, all in honor of the renowned cello teacher and Holocaust survivor, Lev Aronson.
