CAROL KANE in person with her newest film, CLUTTER
A quirky drama featuring a cast of endearingly flawed characters about a family who is forced to confront one another in the process of cleaning their home of hoarded goods

Join the Cinema Arts Centre for a new film and magical evening with the beloved Carol Kane  - Academy Award  Best Actress nominee for Hester Street and 2 Time Emmy Winner as "Simka" to Andy Kaufman's "Latke" in the classic hit TV Series, Taxi.  The unforgettable Kane also lent her porcelain beauty and quirky talent to Annie Hall, Dog Day Afternoon, The Princess Bride, along with recent appearances in the hit TV series Girls, Law & Order: SVU, Monk, Ugly Betty, Two-And-A-Half-Men and more much more! Also appearing with Ms. Kane is Clutter's screenwriter Paul Macarelli.)  Special Guest Interviewer: Foster Hirsch.

Charlie Bradford (Joshua Leonard - The Blair Witch Project), an aspiring filmmaker in his 30s, is doing his best  to distance himself from the chaos of his childhood home. But his eccentric mother Linda (Carol Kane), a compulsive hoarder who suffers from depression punctuated by spells of manic consumption, has a tendency to keep the people and things she loves close at hand. Charlie's younger sisters Lisa (Natasha Lyonne  Orange is the New Black, American Pie) has a history of petty theft, while Penny (Halley Feiffer - The Squid and the Whale) is trying to overcome her agonizing shyness by starting a new career in the beleaguered real estate market. When a water stain on the family's garage door is interpreted as an apparition of the Blessed Virgin, the house attracts the unwanted attention--including the county health department, which gives the Bradfords a week to clean up their act or else.  As the family attempts to clear its clutter, long-buried resentment and grief begin to surface, forcing each to face what it is they value most in life.
