Smacks Skills in Springhill

CALLING ALL SKATERS, REFS AND COACHES!

Have your skates been sitting in your trunk gathering stink? Have you grown bored with learning the same things over and over or skating with the same people? Not sure if you've been calling that track cut properly? Not sure you know what a cut track is? Maybe you want to hone your current skills while learning a few exciting tips and tricks? Or you could just love to skate at any given opportunity so if any of these sound like you then The Lumbersmacks have something special for you!

In true roller derby spirit the reigning Atlantic Canada Regional Champions and their head ref want to share their skating knowledge with everyone around as a means of giving back and helping those in need. This would involve a three hour training camp for skaters and/or a FREE Ref clinic by Shreddy Crocker followed by a scrimmage with the Lumbersmacks trainers! The training will be geared towards beginner to intermediate skaters however skaters and referees of all skillsets are welcome. Not only will this be a fun and enjoyable time but will also allow skaters the chance to work with other skaters from outside their leagues and to fine tune certain techniques!

The training is open to all skaters who have passed their minimum skills and have valid insurance! Come get your smack on with the Muddy River Roller's Lumbersmacks on June 7th.
