The California premiere of KILLER AT LARGE (USA, 2008, 105 mins) looks at the epidemic of obesity in the U.S., which could make this generation the first one to have a shorter lifespan than their parents. The film traces the corporate-driven shift to industrial agriculture, and marketing campaigns that encourage Americans to over-consume subsidized, high-calorie processed food.
