GIDEON FREUDMANN & JIM D'VILLE
Gideon Freudmann and Jim D'Ville are two-thirds of the popular Portland, Oregon acoustic trio Caravan Gogh. Combining the wildly divergent frequencies of cello and ukulele, the two musicians create very original, toe taping and beautiful music.
They recently toured in Australia promoting their latest recording. Jim is an itinerant ukulele instructor and songwriter. Gideon continues to redefine the role and boundaries of the cello. He has released nearly 20 CDs and composes music for film, TV theatre and dance. He was recently commissioned to compose a piece for the worlds first cello flash mob. Naturally.
