TUDOR CHOIR 2014-2015 SUBSCRIPTION SERIES

***SUBSCRIPTIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE CONCERT ON SEPTEMBER 20 BEGINNING AT 6:30 PM.

The Tudor Choir's 2014-2015 season includes a tribute concert in memory of composers John Tavener and Peter Hallock, our annual Christmas concert, Gabriel Jackson's new Passion setting, and a performance of contemplative music for the evening. The choir will be joined by its instrumental ensemble, the Tudor Players, for two performances.

The Tudor Choir will also once again present the world-renowned TALLIS SCHOLARS. Tickets for the Tallis Scholars must be ordered separately from your subscription order. TALLIS SCHOLARS tickets are available at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/706924.

All concerts will be performed at historic Blessed Sacrament Church in Seattle's University District, where the choir is a resident ensemble.

For those who might be out of town for the holidays, take advantage of subscription savings and simply give your December concert tickets away as a gift!

Subscription prices represent a 25% discount off single ticket prices, and subscribers and their guests sit in a reserved section in the front of the church.

***PLEASE NOTE: When purchasing a subscription, subscribers will receive only one ticket (for the September 20 concert) from Brown Paper Tickets. The remaining three series tickets will be available to be picked up at the first series concert on September 20. For subscribers opting for will call tickets, all four series tickets will be available for pick up at the September 20 concert.

THE PASSION OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST: West Coast Premiere

British composer Gabriel Jackson's new setting of the Passion premiered in April 2014 to enthusiastic reviews in the UK and the States. Jackson draws from all four Gospel accounts and includes the Gregorian hymns for Holy Week plus a selection of poetry to create a unique Passion setting for choir, soloists, and ensemble of ten instrumentalists. Join the Tudor Choir and Players for the west coast premiere of Gabriel Jackson's The Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ.
