Country Music Benefit Concert featuring Buddy Brown with Madeline Smith
Come out and enjoy great country musics at our Benefit Concert for Walk Now for Autism Speaks: Greater Morris Area.

Headliner:  BUDDY BROWN

Singer-Songwriter Buddy Brown grabs his Gibson guitar and sits on the back of his Ford truck right at sunset. He's here to play one song that he's heard repeatedly all day. Dusk is almost here as he adjusts his video camera on an inclining grassy hill for just the right shot. The cicadas start to join in a chorus from the tall trees behind Buddy as he tunes up his guitar one last time before hitting "RECORD." This will be Buddy's 150th video posted on YouTube. It's a project he started back in 2009 which has now reached over 5.1 million views and nearly 30,000 subscibers.

Buddy released a 5 song EP  on March 11th this year and it debuted at #34 on iTunes for Country albums. "That is rare territory for an Independent artist" says producer Dave Bechtel who produced Buddy's EP and 1st album "Mason Jar." Buddy then became a YouTube sensation  leading to bookings all over the U.S including playing for NASCAR at Talladega Superspeedway, landing a front page article in the Clarion Ledger which is the largest newspaper in Mississippi, and soonafter being featured in the USA Today with a long article including a video of Buddy singing his song "Take You Huntin."

Buddy is looking forward to the release of his 2nd EP for the year in late 2014 featuring his most popular song to date called "Stop When You See a Uniform" a military song that has taken the internet by storm. Being an Independent artist, Buddy hopes the song will chart high for Country music on iTunes alongside national acts and make a name for himself in a major way.

Opening act: Madeline Smith

Madeline Smith, raised in New Jersey, has a southern family background and grew up on country music, singing Patsy Cline and Johnny Cash. Her perfect pitch was discovered by her piano teacher at age ten. She then started taking voice lessons and then later guitar lessons. After picking up the guitar, Madeline started immersing herself in songwriting.

In September, 2013, Madeline released her single "State of Mind" to the UK and it immediately went to #16 on the country charts.  She performed two of her originals and was a presenter at the British Country Music Awards on November 24, 2013.

Madeline performs primarily in NJ, NY, and PA and has 2014 performances scheduled in Nashville, Illinois, and Utah. Madeline also frequents Nashville for recording, songwriting, and performances and will be living in Nashville as of September 2014.
