Grammy nominated fiddler/composer Darol Anger was a founding member of the David Grisman Quintet, the Turtle Island String Quartet, Psychograss, and his Republic of Strings. His ideas and sound has reshaped fiddling all over the globe, inspiring 3 generations of players. He can be heard on NPRs Car Talk every week, with Earl Scruggs, Tony Rice, and David Grisman.

Bilingual singer/songwriter and banjoist Abigail Washburn is "a daring, definite talent who's feel for the folk idiom results in moving material" says the Wall Street Journal.  Her band The Sparrow Quartet, featuring 10 time Grammy winner Bela Fleck, an otherworldly amalgam of Appalachian roots music and Chinese folkloric tunes has toured all over the US and China.  Abigail was a member of the old-time stringband Uncle Earl whose latest CD was produced by John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin.

Vibrant young cellist and Julliard graduate Natalie Haas tours the world with renowned Scottish fiddler Alasdair Fraser - their CD was awarded Best Album of the Year in the Scots Trad. Music Awards.  She has also toured with Mark O'Connor.

US National Scottish Fiddle Champion and brilliant jazz violinist Jeremy Kittel holds a Masters in Jazz Performance from Manhattan School of Music.  A member of the Grammy winning Turtle Island Quartet and the Republic Of Strings, he has appeared at the Kennedy Center, and on A Prairie Home Companion.
