Wythe Cinema + IFNY + Tribeca Film Present "The Bachelor Weekend"
Join us for a special IFNY screening of "The Bachelor Weekend," at Wythe Cinema Friday, May 16th.
Fresh off its successful run at this year's Tribeca Film Festival, The Bachelor Weekend, was called "utterly adorable" by Indiewire. "[Hugh] O'Conor and [Peter] McDonald commit to the roles beautifully" they added, awarding it a B+. It is Ireland's highest grossing Irish movie this year.
The Bachelor Weekend takes some unexpected detours in this hilarious and heartfelt Irish comedy, about a groom-to-be who reluctantly agrees to go on a camping trip before his nuptials. But when his fiancé's alpha-male brother, nicknamed 'The Machine', unexpectedly turns up, all concepts of masculinity are challenged and a leisurely weekend in the great outdoors takes a turn for the worst. Andrew Scott, Hugh O'Conor, Peter McDonald, Brian Gleeson, Amy Huberman star.
