Winter Gathering featuring Orca Researchers Mark Sears and Maya Sears
Join The Whale Trail and friends for our annual Winter Gathering. Orca Researchers Mark Sears and Maya Sears will share updates about recent encounters with endangered southern resident orcas. Help us welcome the orcas back to their winter range, and learn what you can do to help J, K and L pods today.
This event is family-friendly. Bring a donation of nonperishable food for the West Seattle Food Bank. Get tickets early, this will sell out! This is an in-person event only.
About The Whale Trail
The Whale Trail (www.thewhaletrail.org) is a series of sites to view orcas and other marine mammals from shore. Our mission is to inspire appreciation and stewardship for orcas and other marine mammals. From 16 inaugural sites in Washington state, there are now more than 150, from California to British Columbia, The Whale Trail is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, headquartered in West Seattle.
