Autumn 2025 Fundraiser Demo Series with Chef Arran Stark
We invite you to join us at The Kitchen at Jefferson County Fairgrounds this fall. Chef Arran Stark will be giving a five part lecture series as we head into the holiday season. As many of you know, Chef Arran Stark has been a familiar face doing cooking demos at the Jefferson County farmers market, the chef leading the culinary program at Jefferson Healthcare, and serves on the board at the JeffCo Fairgrounds. Come learn the magic of making an amazing salad, an unforgettable soup, different processes and techniques for vegetables, chicken, and salmon!

We are so excited to welcome you to The Kitchen at Jefferson County Fairgrounds, a nonprofit demonstration kitchen located at the Erickson Building at the Fairgrounds, 4907 Landes St, Port Townsend. These events will be the first of many as we seek to raise funds to grow the capacity of the cooking school and future catering kitchen.

Autumn 2025 Fundraiser Demo Series

$30 per class

Selected Wednesdays 6:30p-8:30p

Two hour lecture style community classes with refreshments and samples to follow. This class style will be theory and concept driven, less recipe forward.

All proceeds benefit The Kitchen at Jefferson County Fair Grounds Association.

NOVEMBER 12th
Salads! - Explore everything salad from dressings and greens to other fun things.

NOVEMBER 19th
Soups - From simple stocks to all sorts of soups, stews and bisques.

DECEMBER 3rd
The Vegetable - Roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits and seeds

DECEMBER 10th
Everything Salmon - From Butchery to Cooking methods and Sauces.

DECEMBER 17th
The Chicken - Butchery, Truss, Cooking methods and Sauces.
