Western Washington Fellowship of Reconciliation presents

Nonviolence:
Key Strategies for Times of
Rising Authoritarianism

Sat Nov 22, 8:45 am - 12:45 pm Pacific time, Zoom

We are delighted that Mary Lou Finley and Pam Smith will lead a training with focus on Collective Noncooperation.  Mary Lou, of Seattle, and Pam, of Portland, both have extensive experience leading Kingian Nonviolence Workshops and have often worked together.  They were co-founders  (with two others) of the Addie Wyatt Center for Nonviolence Training, begun in Chicago nearly 10 years ago, and were co-editors of the book The Chicago Freedom Movement: Martin Luther King, Jr. and Civil Rights Activism in the North (2016).   See more about them at our Fall Conference web page (link below).

We are pleased that we will once again have Youth Activist presentations by current and former members of WWFOR's Mike Yarrow Peace Fellowship program.   WWFOR provides these youth aged 14-23 with nonviolence training and mentorship as each fellow works on an individual project.

The conference will include time for interactions between participants and it will end with an informal discussion session.

WWFOR;s fall and spring conferences are always informative and meaningful and we hope you will join us.
