Scéal Eile from Irish Gaelic means Another Story and thats what this music series is all about. An intimate venue, the Irish Heather Shebeens Scéal Eile Room (50 seats) is a perfect space to express our connection with Celtic Culture in story and song.
Our host, Bruce Coughlan, (vocals, guitar & whistles) is an award-winning performer with a 50-year professional career.
At each concert event, Bruce will team up with a different musical guest, sharing their personal connections and adventures in Celtic Music. Alternately performing songs & tunes, while supporting each other musically. Our guests are among the most recognizable names in Vancouvers Celtic Music scene.

Pat Chessell is a Canadian folk singer-songwriter renowned for his soulful melodies, poignant lyrics, and captivating storytelling. With a career steeped in collaboration and a deep-rooted passion for championing the underdog, Chessell has carved a unique niche in the Canadian and Celtic folk music scene . Born and raised in the vibrant province of B.C., Pat Chessellfound solace and inspiration in the rich tapestry of Canadian and Irish folk music from an early age. His musical journey has been marked by fruitful collaborations with esteemed songwriters such as Larry Hennessey, Bruce Coughlan, Ivan Boudreau, and John Bowman, among others.
Together, they've woven narratives that resonate with authenticity and emotional depth.
