Season of Light - Greater Tiverton Community Chorus Holiday concert
The Greater Tiverton Community Chorus will perform holiday choral pieces to celebrate a "Season of Light". The chorus will be conducted by Christian Black, Director accompanied by Julie Poepping, Collaborative Accompanist.
The Greater Tiverton Community Chorus is a 50 voice ensemble from Tiverton, Westport, Little Compton and surrounding communities. The chorus has been singing together and performing since 1980. The Season of Light will celebrate the holidays with traditional songs as well as pieces composed by Eric Whitacre, John Rutter, and Ola Gjeilo.
Performances will be on Friday, December 12 at 7:30 at the Westport High School, 400 Old County Road, Westport, MA. and on Sunday, December 14 at 3:00 at Tiverton High School, 100 Brayton Rd., Tiverton, RI.
Tickets are $17 in advance and $20 at the door. Kids under 12 are free.
Tickets may be used for either concert.
