About DJ Hoodboi :
A few years from now, when they make a movie about the current club scene, DJ Hoodboi's summery "I Get Lonely" anthem will be blasting through the opening credits. His clean, instantly-likable approach to jersey club is part of the reason why the hyper-R&B style is spreading so quickly throughout setlists worldwide.
The king of Jersey Club right now is coming to bring the genre to Alaska for the first time on a national level.
Little is known about the masked producer who has received props from Mad Decent, BBC Radio 1 and Rinse FM. Twitter speculation has been rife, complemented by co-signs from fellow producers like Ta-ku, Djemba Djemba, DJ Sliink, Wave Racer, Stwo and Falcons. So who is the man behind the mask? He's just your friendly neighbour Hoodboi. Duh.
