Time Flies
It's our 10th Anniversary! To celebrate, we bring back a beloved masterpiece from the very first Simple Measures concert: Mendelssohn's breathtaking Octet for Strings. We are thrilled to present Milwaukee Symphony concertmaster Frank Almond as the featured violinist! On his famed Lipinski Stradivarius, he will play not only the Mendelssohn but also the incomparable solo Bach Chaconne. Joining him will be a host of all-stars from the Seattle-area music scene. Come hear this exuberant music, plus Piazzolla and more from our first concert, remixed to reflect the theme that launched us 10 years ago: Music Rocks!
