Friends and Family: Music of the Near and (not so) Dear
On Wednesday, June 11, GMOF will be presenting "Friends and Family", a special concert exploring music of kinship (and occasional discord) as viewed from Operatic and Broadway stages. The performance will take place at 7:30pm at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, 2 Cherry St., Burlington.
This is a terrific opportunity to hear the GMOF 2014 company performing beloved songs, arias, duets and ensembles of operatic and Broadway repertoire.

Tickets are priced at $25/$20 for students (age 18 and under) and seniors (age 65 and over).
The Green Mountain Opera Festival, now in its 9th year, is considered one of New England's premier opera producers. Sponsored by the Green Mountain Cultural Center [non-profit 501(c)(3)], and supported in part by grants from the Vermont Arts Council and National Endowment for the Arts - Art Works, the festival presents professional opera at the historic Barre Opera House, venues in the Mad River Valley, and beyond. Events in Central and Northern Vermont are enjoyed by local and regional visitors alike. Audiences greet performances with warmth and enthusiasm, and collectively laud this artistic gem based in the Mad River Valley.
