Authentic Voices: Songwriting with the Charms! (by Rocky Mountain Listening Room)
Join 2025 Country Music Alberta Horizon Group of the Year nominees The CHARMShusband-and-wife duo Denis Dufresne and Megan Konschuhfor a 2-hour songwriting workshop blending melody, lyric, and storytelling. With award-winning experience on fiddle, guitar, and mandolin, theyll guide you through writing authentic, harmony-rich songs rooted in Canadiana and country. Learn co-writing techniques, explore song structure, and craft lyrics that resonate. This workshop is perfect for songwriters of all levels!
By signing up for a workshop you are also eligible to apply to perform with the Charms at the Rocky Mountain Listening Room on January 16. This is event 1 of 7 songwriting workshops hosted by the Rocky Mountain Listening Room for the 2025-2026 season. For more details visit rockyfolkclub.com. Note: Workshops location is different from the concert location however they all fall under the Rocky Mountain Listening Room.
