Mean City Roller Derby New Skater Intake
Come and learn to skate with Mean City Roller Derby.
Mean City are an open to all gender policy roller derby league in Glasgow, Scotland. We are LGBTQIA+ inclusive. We will be running an introductory course for new skaters from 5th October for 8 weeks.
Anyone aged 8 or older is welcome to come along, no skating experience is needed.
During the course you'll learn skating skills such as how to stop, skate backwards, transition, skate laterally and of course how to fall safely
Sessions will take place on Sunday afternoons, 13:00 - 15:00 at ARC: Health and Fitness near Buchannan bus station https://maps.app.goo.gl/Gix3kfQAR1XjHLpu5
If you don't have equipment we can provide this. To play derby you must wear: - Helmet - Knee pads - Elbow pads - Wrist guards - Quad skates
