About (Megan Griffiths, 2025, United States, 97 min, in English)
A biracial teenager who was adopted at birth into extreme wealth, 17-year-old Ivy (Sarah Jeffery) finds herself navigating the fallout of her parents bitter divorce. Set adrift in Aspens elite party scene, Ivys previously idyllic world begins to unravel as she is plunged into a playground of toxicity where those with infinite wealth look to prey upon the young and innocent. In a society that allows men to dictate who she should be, Ivy must determine whether to follow the paths of her peers and the women before her or forge her way on her own terms.
Inspired by true events, veteran filmmaker Megan Griffiths and writer Eliza Flugs searing depiction of a wealthy community in the 90s providing cover for predatory behavior delves into the complexities of power and privilege. A resonant and timely story told through a personal lens, Year of the Fox explores the empowerment and danger of coming into your sexuality as a woman in our society.

Accessibility
Ticketing, concessions, cinemas, restrooms, and our public edit lab are located on Northwest Film Forum's ground floor, which is wheelchair accessible. We have a limited number of assistive listening devices available for programs hosted in our larger theater, Cinema 1. These devices are maintained by the Technical Director, and can be requested at the ticketing and concessions counter.
The Forum does NOT have assistive devices for the visually impaired, and is not (yet) a scent-free venue. Our commitment to increasing access for our audiences is ongoing, and we welcome all public input on the subject!
If you have additional specific questions about accessibility at our venue, please contact our Patron Services Manager at rajah@nwfilmforum.org
