Quarter Round Fest
Quarter Round Festival is a three-day experimental sound festival in Lubbock, TX during the first weekend in October. Hosted by Longitudes and CO-OPt Research + Projects, the festival will present local, regional, and international artists, many for the first time in West Texas. The first two nights of the festival will feature improvisers in ad hoc combos determined the morning of the concert, music that is unique to the moment and place. Sunday will be a matinee featuring composed work performed by Llano Estacado Monad Band, Forming (Colorado Springs, CO), and Sylvain Darrifourcq (Toulouse, France).
Event will start Friday 10/3 7pm until 10pm Saturday 10/4 will be 7pm until 10pm Sunday 10/5 will be from 2pm until 6pm
