About
(Eva Neuwirth, Matt Dy, Ashley George, United States, in English)

Locals Only is a monthly screening event put on by the Seattle Film Society. Each Month, the SFS Programming team curates an intimate lineup of Washington-made short films from a variety of genres and showcases them for a community of filmmakers and film lovers. Screenings include in-depth Q&As with the filmmakers as well as the opportunity to engage with the broader filmmaking community. This event is presented in partnership with the Northwest Film Forum.

Our May Locals Only will feature three wide-ranging shorts presented by local filmmakers Ashley George (of 2025 SIFF Selection Slush), Nick Culbert, and Matt Dy:

Much Ado About Literally Nothing  Directed by Eva Neuwirth, Presented by DP Nick Culbert
Loop  Presented by Director Matt Dy
Volition  Presented by Writer/Director Ashley George

Grab a friend and come hang as we celebrate Seattles vibrant filmmaking community! Thursday 5/29 at the Northwest Film Forum. Doors at 6:30, films at 7. Afters to follow!

Accessibility

Ticketing, concessions, cinemas, restrooms, and our public edit lab are located on Northwest Film Forum's ground floor, which is wheelchair accessible. We have a limited number of assistive listening devices available for programs hosted in our larger theater, Cinema 1. These devices are maintained by the Technical Director, and can be requested at the ticketing and concessions counter. The Forum does NOT have assistive devices for the visually impaired, and is not (yet) a scent-free venue. Our commitment to increasing access for our audiences is ongoing, and we welcome all public input on the subject! If you have additional specific questions about accessibility at our venue, please contact our Patron Services Manager at maria@nwfilmforum.org
