As Florida's violent legislation dominates headlines, LGBTQ2S+ communities are also on the frontlines of accelerating climate change. Cant Stop Change: Queer Climate Stories from the Florida Frontlines is a documentary that weaves interviews with 15 LGBTQ2S+ artists, organizers, and educators across Florida (and the new Florida diaspora) into an intersectional climate justice narrative.

This event is hosted by Central Florida Mutual Aid in collaboration with Queers 4 Climate Justice. Central Florida Mutual Aid is a collective of regular folx in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties practicing mutual aid. We center the voices and needs of those most impacted by systems of oppression. For CFLMA, mutual aid has three crucial elements: collaborating to meet each other's needs, having a shared understanding that the systems we live within are oppressive and not meeting our needs, and working together to strategically address root causes and bring about radical change.
