Women and the Wind Film Screening
Three women ignite the flames of curiosity and adventure which lay dormant within so many of us, by deepening our understanding of the synergy between nature and humanityand by doing so radically, through a voyage across the North Atlantic.
This beautiful and moving film is about encouraging women to jump in the ocean and get out on the water, and also to raise awareness about the dire need to confront the massive amount of plastic with which we are polluting the ocean.
The film will be screened at dusk at the Bakke Coffee Museum on Thursday, May 29th. The museum will be open to the public starting at 7pm through the end of the screening. The movie will be screened outdoors, if you would like a seat please bring your own. Because space is limited please be courteous and don't take up extra space!
For more information please visit the events page at bakkecoffeemuseum.com.
The event is free, donations will go to SeaStr, a Pacific Northwest organization dedicated to making maritime activities and occupations more accessible to women, minorities, and the LGBQT+ community.
