API Cultural Center in association with Asian American Dance Performances present the World Premeire of: Of Spirits Intertwined
"Spirits..." is a journey of master artists in the traditional dance forms of Cambodia, India and Japan. "Spirits..." will weave you through the cultures and lands of the Indian subcontinent through Southeast Asia and the isles of Japan.
Excavating Afghan, a contemporary dance performance choreographed by Folawole, performance artist, choreographer and director in collaboration with Miriam Peretz, an internationally acclaimed performing artist excavates traditional Afghan heritage to find innate treads which connect past and present moments in human nature.
