Braintree Choral Society Spring Concert
Braintree Choral Society is pleased to present Mark Hayes' glorious and exciting "Requiem". This piece is known for combining traditional musical style with 21st century musical expression.
In addition the concert will feature "Joy" a very evocative piece composed by 28 year old acclaimed composer Hans Bridger Heruth. To commemorate singers from our first century we will perform the beautiful "In Memoriam" by Michael John Trotta.
Music director Susan Gilleece-Reilley has been with BCS for 29 years and is in her 6th year as director. Accompaniment will be provided by a small chamber orchestra and Daniel Padgett on piano.
The second half of the concert will include lively, lighter works on the theme of love and Joy, A reception will follow the concert. Come enjoy the music and meet the chorus.
