The fun begins as our truffle dog, Zara, sniffs out and unearths black truffles (tuber melanosporum). Learn about this fascinating and aromatic underground fungus and the dogs that hunt them, the Lagotto Romagnolo.
We will have truffle appetizers, including truffle cheese from La Fromagerie in San Francisco, hot cider, and wine.
Rain or snow a hunting we will go!

*Fresh found truffles from the hunt will be available for purchase*
Please keep your dogs at home or in your car as no other dogs will be allowed out on the orchard. Dress warm and wear good hiking shoes. No refunds.
