St. Malachy's - The Actors' Chapel presents "In Paradisum: A Concert of Remembrance" - a candlelight concert featuring French masterworks sung by The Actors' Chapel Choir with string orchestra. Dr. Stephen Fraser, Director of Music, and Michael Hey, Organist. Musical selections include Messe Solennelle (WIDOR), Pavane pour une infante défunte (RAVEL), Ave Maria (VIERNE), Cantique de Jean Racine (FAURÉ), Ubi Caritas & Notre Père (DURUFLÉ), Panis Angelicus (FRANCK), Méditation from Thais (MASSENET), and In Paradisum from Requiem (FAURÉ). Selections of poetry to be recited between musical selections. Concert duration is approximately 1h10min with no intermission. Wine Reception to follow in the West Chapel. All are welcome! Doors open at 7:30pm. Seats are available on first-come, first-serve basis.
